RAWALPINDI, Jul 25 (APP): The security forces have killed terrorist Ali Jan and injured two others during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted on July 24 in Hoshab District of Balochistan.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) news release on Thursday, during the conduct of the operation, an intense fire exchange took place between the Army troops and the terrorists.
Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area including kidnapping and target killing of innocent civilians, it added.
“Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area. Security Forces of Pakistan, in step with the nation, remain determined to thwart attempts of sabotaging peace and stability of Balochistan,” the ISPR said.
