ISLAMABAD, Jun 11 (APP): A non-governmental organization Maidaan working for the welfare of out-of-school and street children has acknowledged the contribution of renowned writer Imran Malik towards the unprivileged segment of society.
Under the initiative ‘I am somebody’, Maidaan’s Project Head Rehan Tahir Rehan presented an appreciation shield to Imran Malik for highlighting the problems faced by such children, according to a statement issued here.
The ‘I am somebody’ project focuses on the emancipation of millions of out-of-school and street children and advocates for their right to have identity, sports and education.
