IHC concludes proceeding in pleas against changing of election tribunal

ISLAMABAD, Jul 29 (APP):The Islamabad High Court  (IHC) on Monday concluded its proceeding in petitions challenging changing of election tribunal for three constituencies of the capital.
Chief Justice Aamer Farooq, hearing the case, remarked that the decision would be announced within a day or two. The court had already stayed the proceeding of election tribunal.
The three PTI backed candidates in Islamabad’s constituencies have filed petitions against changing of election tribunal.
Petitioner Aamer Mughal’s lawyer argued that objectionable language has been used in the petition against election tribunal. The court has also declared it as contemptuous. He said that there was only one tribunal in Islamabad and it shouldn’t be abolished or stopped from working.
After this, the court adjourned hearing of the case.
