ISLAMABAD, Jun 12 (APP): Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan on Wednesday visited the residence of senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party and former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf to inquire about his health.
According to DPR Rawalpindi, the governor stayed with him for some time and prayed for his early recovery.
The Governor said that Raja Pervez Ashraf was the identity of Pothohar region. With his political insight, he has played an important role in regional development.
In the political arena, Raja Pervez Ashraf’s political rivals also acknowledged his services, he added.
The Governor expressed hope that Raja Pervez Ashraf would soon recover and serve the people again.
