ISLAMABAD, Feb 09 (APP): Fida Hussain of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has won the Punjab Assembly election from PP-237, Bahawalnagar-I by securing 68,681 votes.
According to the unofficial result issued by the Returning Officer/ECP, his runner-up was Mian Rashid Mahmood Wattoo, an independent candidate who bagged 52,032 votes.
Overall voters’ turn-out remained 61.78%.
